YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy at JTeen.
This notice describes the account and event features currently available through JTeen at Chabad of the Shore. Updated October 15, 2026.
What your account keeps
When you create an account, JTeen uses your email address, name, and requested teen or parent role. The service also keeps your account verification and approval status, event registrations, confirmed attendance, verified service minutes, and attendance points. Account passwords are handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
Who can see it
Rabbi Yaakov manages account requests, events, attendance, and corrections. Teens can view their own participation records. Parent access to a teen’s permitted records requires a verified family link; knowing a teen’s name or email is not enough. Member records are not displayed on this public website.
How the service works
Cloudflare hosts the website and processes requests needed to deliver and protect it. Supabase provides account authentication and database storage. Resend delivers account confirmation and password-recovery emails. Your browser stores a sign-in session so you can stay signed in. Sign out when using a shared device.
Corrections and account questions
Attendance and point corrections keep a history rather than silently replacing past changes. For help accessing, correcting, or requesting removal of your information, contact [email protected]. Rabbi Yaakov can also help with parent access and questions about joining the program.
Features still being prepared
Online payments, app-store downloads, quizzes, raffle features, and some other planned features are not available here yet. This notice will need updating as those features are connected.
